New programs are coming to the Conroe Animal Shelter. Residents will have opportunities to spend time with shelter dogs. A longer-term foster program was approved, in addition to two other programs.

These programs allow participants to take dogs out of the shelter for a period of time. The goal is to give dogs a break from their kennels. Further details about the programs, including how to participate, are available from the Conroe City Council and the Conroe Animal Shelter.
