The Conroe Police Department, in collaboration with the Montgomery County Medical Examiner, is currently engaged in efforts to identify human remains discovered on Friday in the 5000 block of North Frazier, as stated by Chief John Buckholtz. Authorities responded to the scene after remains were uncovered, with police dispatching crime scene investigators and detectives from the criminal investigations unit, according to officials.
The Houston Chronicle reported on Saturday that the medical examiner’s office stated it “could not release more information” as the investigation is still ongoing. Buckholtz stated that officials will be unable to ascertain the cause of death until the autopsy is completed. He stated that the process “could take a couple of weeks.”
Conroe police investigators were called to the scene following the discovery, where they began their examination and continued the investigation. Officials announced that crime scene investigators and detectives from the Conroe Police Department’s criminal investigations unit responded to the scene following the discovery of human remains.
