Authorities from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are seeking assistance from the public in their efforts to locate 35-year-old Jose Ignacio Venegas Nieto, who investigators suspect is connected to a series of high-end residential burglaries. According to information released by the sheriff’s office, Nieto is also known by the alias Fernando Rodriguez and features a tattoo with the name “Lilian” on his left forearm.
Officials have announced that the investigation is a collaborative effort involving several agencies as they strive to identify and apprehend those accountable.
In a press release on Wednesday, the sheriff's office officials revealed their suspicion that Nieto is associated with an international organized crime ring. Bailey stated, "We are collaborating closely with law enforcement in Montgomery County and Harris County Precinct 4. " Officials have announced the approval of additional officers on the streets, increased overtime, and the provision of advanced technology and resources requested by law enforcement agencies. The township has implemented numerous measures to bolster public safety efforts.
