The Montgomery County Elections Office has announced that voters can cast their early ballots at any polling location throughout the county until April 28. Voters are reminded that Election Day is scheduled for May 2, and they should ensure they report to their designated precincts.
Important dates to remember are April 20, which marks the start of early voting and the last day to receive ballot-by-mail applications. Mail-in ballots must be received by May 2. However, ballots postmarked by 7 p.m. on Election Day could still be accepted until May 4.
In Conroe, the local races feature competitive contests for City Council Places 3, 4, and 5, as well as the municipal judge position. The contenders for Place 3 are Kristin Hoisington and Nick Vonas. The Place 4 race showcases Ken Blevins, John J. Kessler, and Jerry L. O’Neal, whereas Place 5 highlights Kim Attaya, Kristin Guardino, and John Sellars.
