Willie Nelson tour stops include Woodlands, Austin and Irving shows

This summer, Texas music great Willie Nelson will be back on stage with the Outlaw Music Festival Tour. In early July, he will make three stops across the state.

Nelson, who is 93 years old, is set to play in Irving on July 3, at his yearly Fourth of July picnic in Austin on July 4, and at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on July 5.

Organizers of the Woodlands show say that the gates will open at 1 p.m. and the music will start at 2 p.m.

Well-known acts like Wilco, Sheryl Crow, Stephen Wilson Jr., Margo Price, and Lily Meola will be on the tour. Billy Strings, Rodney Crowell, and Nelson's son, Lukas Nelson, will all be performing at the Fourth of July Picnic in Austin.

Nelson told the news service, "I love being on the road and playing for the fans." "It means a little more every night out there."

The Outlaw Music Festival Tour is a popular summer event that brings together country, rock, and Americana bands and has fans from all over the country.

You can get tickets for the Texas shows right now on Nelson's main website and on most other ticketing sites.

The tour's organizers say it's a way to honor Nelson's long-lasting impact on American music by bringing together a wide range of artists for fans of all ages.

Before the shows, more information about the tour and each location is likely to be made public.
