From what the Houston Business Journal has reported, Montgomery is going to get its very own H-E-B grocery store, and it is anticipated that it will open its doors in the latter half of the year 2025.
According to the records of the Montgomery Central Appraisal District, the 127,186-square-foot store will be constructed on a 16.75-acre property located at the southeast corner of Highway 105 and FM 2854. This is land that H-E-B LP has owned since 2014.
Aa perMontgomery Mayor Sara Countryman, the project's groundbreaking, which is anticipated to cost thirty million dollars, is scheduled to take place in August. The site's mountainous geography will necessitate the creation of a detention pond and completing leveling work before the vertical construction can begin.
Although numerous questions have been made, H-E-B has not made any public statements regarding the development.

Conroe City Council unanimously approved the purchase of 14 Chevrolet Tahoes and two drones—about $1 million total—to replace aging police vehicles and strengthen response capabilities, with SUVs paid from the Vehicle Equipment Replacement Fund and drones funded by federal seized-asset proceeds.
