Smalls Sliders is a fast-growing burger company known for its large logos and small restaurants, which are made from shipping containers. It will open its first "Can" in Conroe. The new location will open at 8 a.m. on July 21 at 2116 West Davis, located just off Texas 105 and adjacent to Conroe High School.
A 750-square-foot "Smorange-colored" barrel holds cheeseburger sliders, seasoned waffle fries, and hand-spun milkshakes, which are what the chain is known for. This is Smalls Sliders' second location in Montgomery County. In late 2024, they opened a second store in Willis.
Preston Cunningham and David Higgins, who are franchisees and also run the restaurant in Willis, will run the one in Conroe. Allison Smith, who is responsible for the brand's strategy, growth, and operations, will also be in attendance.
As always, the company celebrates a local Small Town Hero with each new "Can Drop." Smalls Sliders will recognize Nathan Arrazate, affectionately known as "Santa Nate" in the community, for the Conroe launch.
The company stated in a news release that Santa Nate is a well-liked figure in Conroe, known for bringing happiness to others and his community work.
This is another way that Smalls Sliders is giving back to the community on opening day. Some of the day's sales will benefit Family Promise of Montgomery County. This charity supports homeless families with children by providing them with shelter, meals, transportation, and other essential services.
Smalls Sliders continues to make a big move into Texas, bringing flavor and fun in a small space.
