This was the first play that set the tone for the game. Jack Emerson, the quarterback, demonstrated his prowess by completing 15 of 20 passes while throwing for 276 yards and four touchdowns throughout the game. Following DJ Lagway's graduation, Emerson has made a seamless move into the starting role.
