From January 29 to February 1, The Woodlands area will host a series of community events that highlight food, philanthropy, and live entertainment. The extended weekend promises various activities for residents and visitors alike.
Taste of the Town is set to make its return on January 29, running from 4 to 9 p.m. The event will take place at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, which is located at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive. The annual event welcomes attendees to indulge in various appetizers, entrees, desserts, pastries, and beverages from over 50 local restaurants and food vendors. Event organizers have announced that tickets will be priced at $55 for advance purchases and $60 for those bought at the door.
The Rotary Club of The Woodlands is set to host its Legends Gala at 6 p.m. The event will take place on January 30 at the venue located on Lake Robbins Drive. An upcoming event is set to honor Ann Snyder and also function as a fundraiser for Rotary initiatives. The funds raised will support various programs, including scholarships, mentorship opportunities, housing assistance, and efforts to alleviate hunger. There is a range of sponsorship levels available.
Music enthusiasts are invited to visit Dosey Doe—The Big Barn, located at 25911 I-45 in Spring, which is set to host consecutive performances. Texas Flood is set to perform on January 30, with Sundance Head scheduled to take the stage on January 31. The Woodlands Township is set to uphold a cherished community tradition on January 31, as it celebrates the 50th Arbor Day Tree Giveaway. Residents are invited to visit Rob Fleming Park, situated at 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, between 9 a.m. and noon. The event will take place from 9 a.m. Attendees can receive complimentary native tree seedlings for home planting during the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon. The annual giveaway aims to encourage environmental stewardship and the preservation of the region's tree canopy.
